Franchisees rewarded at prestigious awards evening

1st Jan, 2009

Mac Tools, a leading supplier of tools and equipment to the automotive aftermarket, rewarded the success of its committed team of franchisees with an awards ceremony.

Hosted at Whittlebury Hall, a prestigious venue near Silverstone, the celebration is an important part of the Mac Tools annual training weekend, designed to get all franchisees up to speed with the latest products and sales developments.

Steve Lee, Trade Marketing Manager for Mac Tools, comments on the awards: “At a time when many companies are cutting back, we strongly believe it is vital to recognise our franchisee force and the commitment they give to their customers. Our route to market is purely through franchisees who sell direct to automotive mechanics through van based sales, so we feel it is crucial to recognise their hard work in this area.”

In addition to awards for the top performing franchisees, there were also awards for long service and ‘Rookie of the Year’, recognising both the longest serving and most recent franchisees.

Some of the victorious franchisees and staff included:Platinum
Andy Mitchell, Top Toolbox Purchaser 2008
Mick Crook, District Manager of the Year
Dan Reid, Brian Nabarro Award for Employee of the Year
Paul Bloxham, Number 1 Franchisee
